“Congratulations. You have been selected to serve the Northern Command, an honour granted to very few and refused by NONE.”
Eager to prove myself, I quickly tackled a MW4 campaign mission, earning an easy stamp and the satisfaction of seeing my gameplay on a massive screen. This early victory set the tone for my participation, as I engaged in various activities like Operation Crossfire, where I donned night vision goggles to find a target in a dark container, and Contraband Sweep, where I located anti-government items against the clock.
I also had my State Portrait taken, capturing not happiness, but my resolve, as the North required. Further tasks included gathering Daily Truth propaganda and confronting a covert operative from Task Force 141, seizing their permit and declaring the codeword hidden within. This confrontation earned me yet another stamp for the North.
Venturing into the South side, I observed the capitalist activities, such as bomb defusal exercises supported by fully-equipped troops. Despite the distaste I felt in their presence, the event was a thrilling experience overall.
“The solo pillar of this sequel, and the pop-up event inspired by it, are stamp-worthy. And you can put that in your permit with confidence, comrade.”
This MW4-themed event was a worthwhile experience, highlighting the campaign’s return to form for Infinity Ward. Whether you’re a fan of the Call of Duty series or just enjoy immersive events, this pop-up was a memorable adventure.
