Everything Coming to HBO Max in November 2026

“Tony is one of IGN’s best-reviewed movies of 2026 so far.”

Fans of the “Planet of the Apes” series will be pleased to see four of the newer films, beginning with “Rise of the Apes” from 2011, added on November 2. This series presents an alternate timeline featuring a human-made virus instead of a nuclear apocalypse. The latest installment, “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes,” received high praise, with Eric Goldman noting it “proves there’s still a lot of life in these primates.”

In addition to festive favorites like “Elf” and “A Christmas Carol,” HBO Max will offer a broad selection of holiday classics. Subscribers can expect themed sections across the app, blending new additions with existing content to enhance the holiday viewing experience.

“Expect to see holiday-themed sections throughout the streaming service’s app, roping together existing shows and movies with November’s new additions.”

As Black Friday approaches on November 26, HBO Max is anticipated to offer discounts similar to last year’s, when the Basic with Ads plan was reduced to $2.99 per month for a year. However, this year’s promotional landscape is uncertain due to the ongoing acquisition of Warner Bros. by Paramount, now under the Skydance umbrella. The impact of this acquisition on HBO Max’s library and pricing remains to be seen.

Overall, November brings a mix of holiday cheer and cinematic variety to HBO Max, ensuring subscribers have plenty of options to enjoy throughout the month.
