PlayStation Plus Subscribers Can Try 007 First Light for Free

“Demonstrably obsessed with bringing the Bond fantasy to life in a way no game has ever managed before, developer IO Interactive has found a highly successful home for the more curated action-stealth formula of 2012’s Hitman: Absolution.”

Critically acclaimed, 007 First Light has earned a 9 out of 10 rating from IGN, praised for its innovative yet faithful approach to the beloved franchise. The game has sold over 4 million copies by August 2026, and its popularity is expected to rise as the festive period unfolds, potentially boosted by end-of-year accolades.

In addition to the main game, IO Interactive has been actively enhancing the player experience with free post-launch updates and is set to release new story DLC by the year’s end. Fans of Nintendo’s upcoming Switch 2 can look forward to playing this hit game when it arrives on the console in March next year.

“Patiently paced, First Light is brimming with Bond’s trinity of gadgets, guns, and girls in a way that feels fresh but reverent, and never like parody.”
