“Star Wars: Galactic Racer is a fabulous looking and frantically fast anti-grav racer that gets a little repetitive thanks to its heavy reliance on repeatedly revisiting the same slim selection of planets.”
Despite some repetition, the game effectively revives a long-dormant aspect of the Star Wars franchise.
Released on October 6, Star Wars: Galactic Racers is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Amazon Luna. Non-Prime members can purchase one of three editions from various retailers. Additionally, PC players can receive a discount on a Steam code through Fanatical by using the promo code FANATICAL15 at checkout.
Prime members can also explore Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days for significant discounts on video games, LEGO sets, Apple products, and 4K Blu-rays.
“Basically, if you want to buy something, you can probably find it on sale — assuming you’re a Prime member.”
Chris Reed, a senior commerce editor and deals expert at IGN, covers these sales events and also manages the release dates for video games, LEGO sets, and 4K Blu-rays. Follow his updates on Bluesky for more insights.
