The Kirin 9050 Pro’s CPU performance is positioned between the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Gen 2.
The Kirin 9050 Pro features a nine-core CPU configuration, including a Prime “ultra” core operating at 3.1GHz. It is supported by six performance cores running at 2.7GHz and 2.2GHz, along with two efficiency cores at 1.75GHz. Additionally, it houses a Maleoon 955 GPU with six cores clocked at 1.05 GHz.
Bernstein Research suggests the Kirin 9050 Pro is manufactured using a 7nm class process node, potentially utilizing SMIC’s N+2 or N+3 technology. However, this information remains unofficial as Huawei has yet to confirm these details.
