Former DC movie star Gal Gadot has opened up about the confusion surrounding Wonder Woman 3, saying that, even though it "wasn't handled elegantly," it's "all good" between her, James Gunn, and Peter Safran. The story of Wonder Woman 3 is a bit of a mess. Gadot's return was seemingly greenlit, canceled, greenlit again, and, finally, canceled in the early 2020s, with its supposed early days unfortunately weighed down by leadership changes behind the scenes as Gunn and Safran stepped in to take over the DC movie business. One of the stranger updates during the kerfuffle saw the actress confirm the two superhero film execs had told her she would come back as Diana Prince for Wonder Woman 3 before it was reported that Gunn and Safran didn't have any plans for a third movie from director Patty Jenkins after all.
