“During the Final Festival of Universes, you will be able to raise your camaraderie level with characters who have accompanied you on your journey.”

The festival also reintroduces hard-to-find items and allows players to earn Star Coins at 25 times the usual rate, making it easier to exchange them for rewards. This event serves as a fitting farewell to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 as attention shifts towards the next game in the series.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 was revealed in April, promising an immersive RPG experience set in West City, Age 1000. Bandai Namco describes it as an “unforgettable, action-packed journey” into a new universe, capturing the hearts of Dragon Ball fans. However, the game’s release has been postponed to 2028 to ensure a quality gaming experience.

“The Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 festivities should help the more impatient fans for at least a little while longer.”

While fans wait for the next installment, these anniversary festivities offer a nostalgic yet exciting experience. For those seeking more insight, IGN’s original review described Xenoverse 2 as “an ambitious, if rough-edged experience, with deceptively deep RPG and brawling elements.” Fans can follow Michael Cripe, a freelance writer for IGN, on social media for more updates.
