“Every corner we turn and every time somebody speaks, it’s like, ‘There’s a lot of doom outside.'” – Anthony Mackie

Speculation is rife about the true identities of these witches. Theories abound, with many suggesting that the witch in red could be Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff, while the one in green might be Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie from the “Loki” series. The identity of the witch in purple remains hotly debated, with guesses ranging from Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness to Charlize Theron’s Clea from “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.”

Despite the swirling theories, there’s a possibility that these witches are merely Doom’s minions. Yet, recent developments in the MCU have fans hopeful for unexpected cameos when “Avengers: Doomsday” hits theaters.

During Comic-Con, Anthony Mackie hinted at the film’s surprises, captured in a viral moment shared by user @CatherineComTH. Mackie teased, “The big thing is the amount of doom you’re going to see. It’s non-stop pandemonium.”

“The best part about that is what the Russo brothers are great at: giving every character and every person their moment.” – Anthony Mackie

Mackie praised the Russo brothers for their skill in ensuring each character has a moment to shine, reminiscent of their work in “Endgame.” Fans eagerly await the film’s release on December 18, 2026, for all answers to be unveiled. Meanwhile, directors Joe and Anthony Russo have teased details about the film’s runtime, and actor Alan Cumming expressed his confusion regarding the plot.
