“The tablet is too expensive,” was the prevailing sentiment among poll participants.

The Galaxy Tab S12+, with its 12.6-inch display, also struggled to capture interest. It narrowly lost out to preferences for smaller tablets and even iPads. The base model of the Tab S12+ starts at $1,200, comparable to an 11-inch iPad Pro, which starts at the same price, while the 13-inch iPad Pro begins at $1,500.

Ultimately, the consensus is that the Galaxy Tab S12 series is currently overpriced compared to its competitors. As one participant noted, even the Ultra’s keyboard cover, priced at 40% of a decent laptop, makes the overall package less appealing. Over time, price reductions might make these tablets more attractive, but for now, they primarily appeal to those who specifically desire a Samsung tablet experience.

“Time will eventually whittle down the prices of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S12 duo,” making them potentially more appealing in the future.
