The Asus ROG Xbox Ally X is really more of an evolution of the Asus ROG Ally X handheld than it is an actual Xbox console.
When compared to similar devices like the Lenovo Legion Go 2, priced at $1,300, and the MSI Claw A8 at $1,200, the Xbox Ally X is competitively priced. Even the newer Xbox Ally X20, which features some enhancements like a larger OLED display, costs $1,299.99, but they share the same internal hardware.
As Black Friday approaches, don’t expect deep discounts on the Xbox Ally X. Significant promotions are unlikely, though minor discounts or freebies might appear. However, deals as low as $850 are rare unless utilizing methods like cashback offers, credit card perks, or price matching.
If you think you’ll find a better deal during Black Friday, I’m going to temper your expectations.
